NPISignal never asks for a Social Security number or an employer identification number, and does not accept a date of birth on a public search — a query string ends up in browser history and server logs, and a third party’s date of birth does not belong in either. Supplying an NPI or a state is what sharpens a public result. Monitored roster records can carry a date of birth, encrypted at rest.
